September 26, 2024

The EIT Girls Go Circular initiative, in collaboration with the European Commission and the EIT Community, is hosting the 2024 Women and Girls in STEM Forum on October 10th, from 10:00 to 13:30 CET. This event will take place in Budapest, Hungary, and be available via livestream. Over the past three years, the Forum has drawn more than 3,000 participants to address gender gaps in STEM and ICT, challenge stereotypes, and inspire girls to pursue careers in science and technology.

This year’s theme, Women in AI: Driving Empowerment and Innovation, will delve into the role of artificial intelligence in fostering inclusivity and innovation in STEM. The event will feature a series of panels and speeches from experts, policymakers, and industry leaders, with a focus on education, mentorship, and policy initiatives that support women in these fields.
